If I pre-pay several months in advance, will a landlord allow me to sign a lease without having a job?

Q:  If I pre-pay several months in advance, will a landlord allow me to sign a lease without having a job?

A:  Employment and credit history  are two very important criteria to qualify for a rental. Now more than ever, landlords are concerned about financial stability of applicants. Pre-paying rent may be attractive to some landlords, but the addition of a Guarantor will be help make them feel more comfortable going forward.  Be aware that whomever you chose, ideally a parent, must be prepared to provide financial disclosure.
